About Girls Golf

In 1989, a woman envisioned sharing her passion for golf with her two daughters. Her desire led to the creation of the Girls Golf community, which now boasts over 90,000 girls globally who have come to love the game just as much! Our non-profit organization, LPGA*USGA Girls Golf (Girls Golf), is a 501-c3 junior golf program run by the LPGA Foundation and the USGA (United States Golf Association). With more than 500 sites across the country, Girls Golf is committed to providing girls with the opportunity to learn and grow through golf.

At Girls Golf sites, girls are given top-notch golf instruction from LPGA and PGA teaching professionals and certified coaches from The First Tee. These experts teach girls how to become skilled golfers and strive to create an environment where girls can experience the joy and fun of the game!

But that’s not all we do at Girls Golf. We aim to empower girls with confidence and teach them important life skills that will serve them well beyond the course. Using the Five E’s of Girls GolfEmpower, Enrich, Engage, Exercise, and Energize – we help girls become leaders, inspire healthy living, and encourage personal growth.

Become a Girls Golf Member

The Girls Golf program is tailored to fit the unique needs of each site. Some sites meet weekly, while others prefer to gather monthly or seasonally. You can use the interactive map provided below to find a Girls Golf program in your area that best suits your preferences.

Getting started is easy!

  1. Search for a Girls Golf location in your area.
  2. Contact your local Site Director to learn more about their specific program, schedule, and fees.
  3. Enroll as a national member for your chosen site.

Membership cost can vary by location

The cost of becoming a Girls Golf member varies depending on the site. Each location has its own enrollment fees that cover the cost of range balls, instruction, and snacks, among other things. If you’re interested in participating in a particular site’s program, we recommend contacting the local Girls Golf Site Director to learn more about their program, schedule, and pricing.

Becoming a Girls Golf member comes with perks!

As a national Girls Golf member, you’ll be eligible to participate in your local Girls Golf site’s events. Additionally, LPGA*USGA Girls Golf members receive official Girls Golf membership gifts, including fun logoed golf merchandise and accessories. They are also granted free entry to LPGA, Epson Tour, and USGA Championships. Girls Golf membership gifts will be shipped directly to your program director for distribution at local program events.
