Memorials & Honorariums

We thank you for choosing to honor and celebrate the life of your loved one by supporting the Tennessee Golf Foundation. Gifts in honor or memory of your favorite golfer are a wonderful way to celebrate their legacy.

Donors typically make gifts in memory of a deceased family member, friend or co-worker or to honor someone who loves the game of golf. Each gift helps the Tennessee Golf Foundation meet our mission to promote golf and its life enhancing values with an emphasis on teaching youth and the disadvantaged.

Memorial Gift Acknowledgement
When making a memorial gift, please include the name and address of the individual you would like us to notify of your gift. We then send an acknowledgement of your donation to the individual you designate.

Memorial Language Used in an Obituary

Families may ask for memorial gifts through the obituary. The notice in the obituary might read…

“In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Tennessee Golf Foundation, Located at Golf House Tennessee, 400 Franklin Road, Franklin, TN 37069”

Honour Council donors will be recognized within Golf House Tennessee and annual Foundation periodicals.
  • Donors will be recognized annually in the Tennessee Golf Foundation’s Progress Report, distributed each December.
  • Donors will be recognized in an Honor Council display located in Golf House Tennessee.
