The Tennessee Golf Foundation Is Proud to Partner with Scott Stallings

Stallings, a Knoxville native, is a three-time winner on the PGA Tour. He played collegiately at Tennessee Tech University where he was a two-time OVC Player of the Year. Since turning pro in 2007, Stallings has consistently made it a priority to give back to the game. His impact on junior golf in Tennessee is undeniable.

“I have two things I can control. I’m going to have a good attitude, and I’m going to try hard.”

In the summer of 2017, Scott Stallings approached the Tennessee Golf Foundation about reimplementing and broadening a Kids Play Free golf program. The relaunch would allow Knoxville area youth the opportunity to play free rounds of golf at Beverly Park Par 3 and Concord Park Par 3 golf courses. The initiative would place an emphasis on promoting growth in golf by providing junior golfers unlimited, free access to multiple facilities. Several months later, fueled by his passion and support, The Scott Stallings Kids Play Free Junior Golf Initiative (KPF) was born.

The KPF is the latest junior golf program backed by Stallings. In 2012, he helped create the Tennessee Junior Cup. Since its inception, Stallings has consistently helped grow the tournament into the state’s premier junior golf event. Each year the Junior Cup host Tennessee’s top junior golf talent in a Ryder Cup style tournament that’s fueled by team spirit and player camaraderie. In addition to the KPF and Junior Cup, he also hosts the AJGA’s Under Armour/Scott Stallings Championship each summer at Oak Ridge Country Club.
