TGF Releases 2024 Progress Report

As the FedEx St. Jude Championship got underway at TPC Southwind on Monday, FedEx kicked off one of Memphis’ biggest weeks in golf with an announcement focused on the future of the game and the city’s young people.

Jenny Robertson, Senior Vice President of Global Brand and Communications for FedEx, announced that FedEx is making a $1 million contribution to the Loren Roberts Family Clubhouse and Learning Center at Links at Audubon, a major component of the Tennessee Golf Foundation’s Driving Our Future campaign.

Robertson made the announcement during a special FedEx event on the driving range at TPC Southwind, bringing together some of the biggest names in sports with young participants from First Tee Tennessee – Memphis.

The event featured an all-star lineup from across the sports world, including Tommy Fleetwood, the reigning FedExCup champion; Cameron Boozer, the Memphis Grizzlies’ No. 3 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft; and Adam Schefter, ESPN’s longtime NFL insider and one of the most recognizable sports reporters in the country. 

Together, Fleetwood, Boozer and Schefter joined kids from First Tee Tennessee – Memphis for a series of golf skills challenges on the driving range at TPC Southwind.

The setting provided a fitting stage for Robertson’s announcement. While the FedEx St. Jude Championship brings the world’s best golfers to Memphis, the $1 million gift from FedEx is focused on creating opportunities for the young people who represent the future of the game.

The Tennessee golf family mourns the passing of Tennessee Golf Hall of Fame member Lou Graham.
A major champion, fierce competitor, and true gentleman of the game, Lou left a lasting impact on Tennessee golf and the golf world as a whole. Best known for his victory at the 1975 U.S. Open, Lou’s career was defined not only by excellence on the course, but by the respect and admiration he earned from everyone around him.
As a member of the Tennessee Golf Hall of Fame, Lou’s legacy will forever be woven into the history of golf in our state. His contributions to the game and the example he set for future generations will not be forgotten.

Franklin, Tenn. (Friday, Oct. 17, 2025)  — The Tennessee Golf Foundation is proud to announce that Mike Eller, PGA  and Bob Wolcott, PGA have been selected as the 2026 inductees into the Tennessee Golf Hall of Fame.

With their induction, Wolcott and Eller will become the 59th and 60th members enshrined among the state’s most celebrated champions, leaders, and contributors to the game. The induction ceremony—bringing together family, friends, and members of the golf community—will be held in 2026, with details to be finalized in the coming weeks.

Wolcott and Eller represent the best of Tennessee golf—champions in competition and leaders in service. Their careers reflect not only dedication to personal achievement but also a commitment to inspiring others through mentorship, sportsmanship, and stewardship of the game. By joining the Tennessee Golf Hall of Fame, their stories will stand alongside those of the state’s most influential figures, continuing a tradition of excellence and community that defines Tennessee golf.
