Bobby Greenwood

Bobby Greenwood has been involved in every aspect of golf—nationally-ranked amateur player, PGA Tour player, club professional, course designer, and editor-writer. The Cookeville native was one of the first to win both the TGA State Open and TGA State Amateur. An All-America at the University of North Texas, he won the Missouri Valley Conference twice and the Southern Intercollegiate. He was ranked among the nation’s Top 10 amateurs twice and one of the few multiple winners of the Sunnehanna Amateur. He played on the PGA Tour for seven years. The popular Tennessee Challenge Cup grew from a seed planted by Greenwood.
