Monterey, Calif. – Youth on Course – the nonprofit organization providing youth with access to life-changing opportunities through golf – is proud to announce a transformative partnership with the Tennessee Golf Foundation and Kids Play Free as it continues its expansion throughout the state.

The partnership signifies a shared commitment to ensuring youth throughout Tennessee have affordable access to golf for generations to come. By combining resources, community relationships, and a passion for creating opportunity, the organizations will integrate the successful Kids Play Free program – founded by PGA TOUR professional Scott Stallings – into the Youth on Course network that provides rounds of golf for $5 or less at participating courses.

With the support of the Tennessee Golf Foundation, the collaborative initiative will extend access to even more junior golfers and communities across the state. As of today, more than 20 golf courses across Tennessee have joined the network, with more facilities expected to sign on in the coming weeks.

“This partnership is built on a shared belief that affordable access is key to growing the game,” said Youth on Course Head of Impact Michael Lowe. “Scott Stallings’ vision through Kids Play Free and the grassroots impact of the Tennessee Golf Foundation aligns perfectly with our mission. By coming together, we’re making a greater impact to ensure that every child in Tennessee has the opportunity to play and benefit from this sport.”

The Tennessee Golf Foundation has long championed youth development through golf, working closely with courses, coaches, and community leaders. This collaboration will help accelerate Youth on Course’s reach across the state, building on a strong foundation of grassroots engagement to empower the next generation of players.

“The Tennessee Golf Foundation is excited to be a part of this partnership between Kids Play Free, Youth on Course and their more than 2,000 partner courses nationwide,” said Whit Turnbow, President of the Tennessee Golf Foundation. “To expand the scope of what Scott created to give kids who call our great state home access to more affordable golf opportunities is what we were built for and aligns perfectly with our mission. Today is a watershed day for growing the game in the Volunteer State.”

“We are so excited to welcome Youth on Course to Tennessee,” Stallings said. “When I partnered with the Tennessee Golf Foundation seven years ago to start the Scott Stallings Kids Play Free Program, my goal was to help make the game of golf more accessible and affordable to kids in Tennessee.  I know that Youth on Course will be a great partner to all of the programming we have at the TGF, and they will work hard to help us expand the mission and open more doors across the state.”

The Youth on Course network spans over 2,000 golf courses and nearly 250,000 members across the U.S., Canada, and Australia. With members recently surpassing four million rounds played, the organization continues to demonstrate its meaningful impact on young golfers and the communities it serves. Beyond affordable rounds, Youth on Course members gain access to college scholarships, internship programs, and leadership opportunities designed to support their growth on and off the course.
