Connie Day

Connie Day of Cleveland won four TGA State Women’s Amateur Championships. Only five women, all Hall of Fame members, won more times. She also was a runner-up in the tournament five times. A graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Connie won the TGA State Women’s Senior Amateur in 1993 and the TGA State Women’s Four-Ball in 1997. She played in her first of many U.S. Women’s Amateur Championships in 1967.
